Get covered NJ is New Jersey’s new marketplace. If you are covered through healthcare.gov don’t worry you will automatically be moved over. However, if you are looking for new health insurance go directly to GetCoveredNJ.
Also, keep in mind if you have a Marketplace plan and chose auto-renewal, you will automatically be re-enrolled in the same health plan at Open Enrollment. Plans and prices change each year. You should compare your plan with new ones to find if there are savings.
GetCoveredNJ is the only place where you can apply for financial help to lower the cost of your monthly premiums and our-of-pocket costs for health insurance.
Reminder: Open Enrollment 2021 starts Sunday, November 1, 2020 and ends Sunday, January 31st, 2021. This is the yearly period when you can enroll in health coverage. If you miss open enrollment you will only be able to apply for coverage if you have a qualify event like losing your job, having a baby etc. click here for a full list of qualify events.
