Go to the nearest beach with a group of friends and pick up the waste on the beach. It is insane how much trash you will find on the beach. Not only does it affect your beach experience, but it will also end up in the ocean and into a fish’s mouth.

BE SUBSTAINABLE ABOUT SEAFOOD

Be conscious about which fish is relatively abundant (okay to eat) and which species are overfished (need to avoid). Also lookout for seafood that contains levels of mercury or PCBs that pose a health risk.
