This month isn’t to remind those who are living with mental illness to be aware of something they live with every day. instead this month is to bring awareness to everyone else. Let’s end the ignorance of accepting only physical illnesses as worthy of sympathy and understanding.

We have this beautiful ability as human beings to lift each other up, hold each other’s hand when needed and be the listening ear. So, go forward with kindness and approach each other with compassion. People may not always remember what you said but they will always remember the way you made them feel. This world can be a harsh place that can make us feel very alone but we are lucky enough to all be in this world together. Take care of yourself and care of one another.
