Today we stumbled upon a fun fact that absolutely obliterated our minds. We saw an article posted on Facebook and we shortly learned that not everyone has an internal monologue in their mind. A bunch of us agreed that for all our lives, we could hear our own voices in our head and speak in full sentences as if we were talking out loud and we assumed everyone experienced this. So, we ended up having a debate in the office and shortly realized this post was correct and not everyone hears their own voices in their head.

Some of us starting asking a million of questions: How do you read? How do you make decisions between two choices? A coworker’s boyfriend described it as “concept maps” that he sees in his brain and he can literally see words in his head if he is trying to think. The rest of us who hear our own voices were describing it has we could look in a mirror or can be driving and have a full-blown conversation with our self without opening our mouth.

Regardless of if you have an internal monologue or not. There is one thing we all have in common this will definitely get a headache, just trying to wrap your mind around it.
