If you are hungry one or two hours after you eat, it’s probably because your meal or snack is mostly carbs or a combination of carbs and protein. You need to add a small serving a healthy fats to your meal or snack. This will not only help keep you full for a longer period of time which helps you consume fewer daily calories, but it can also prevent you from overeating. No, you will not get fat from eating fat. Only if you eat too much of it or in large quantities then it’s not the best to consume. Aim to add a small portion of healthy fats to your meals such as: avocados, whole eggs, nuts, extra virgin olive oil, seeds and salmon. To keep yourself from getting hungry an hour or two after eating your meals should have a combination of carbs, proteins, and healthy fats.
