It’s the start of a new month, September and this means that the fall season is not too far away. Not only is this month considered a time to devote yourselves to hunger, but it is also specific to this very day. Today, September 1 is known as National Foodbank Day so today really try to commit time to aid your local food bank. The economy may be improving since the Great Recession, but the recovery is still leaving many of Americans who were hit the hardest behind. Millions of people are still struggling to get by because of underemployment, stagnant wages and rising costs of living.
