Today we remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the anniversary of his famous “I Have a Dream Speech”, from the 1963 March on Washington. In his speech, Dr. King stated “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.” From just one aspect of his incredibly powerful speech, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. paved the pathway for integration and added to the foundation of the fight for equality of all men and women. Thank you Dr. King for fighting for what you believed in and instilling your powerful words upon the people of this world.
