Three levels of service
Provided by Magellan Healthcare, clients with short-term or long-term disability coverage from Principal get a choice of three levels of service with their coverage.
- Core. This level is automatically included with our group disability coverage. Core EAP can help with things like managing stress, relationship issues, balancing work and life, and more.
- Enhanced. The next level includes all Core services, plus legal, financial, and identify theft services. For legal assistance and identify theft resources, members receive one free 60-minute consultation. For financial coaching, members receive three free 30-minute consultations. And additional consultations are available at discounted rates.
- Premier. This is the most comprehensive level of service, and it’s available to companies with 20 or more employees. It includes all Enhanced services, plus EAP training (onsite and online), EAP reporting, consultation and resource opportunities, face to face visits (either in-person or online), and more.
For clients who don’t have one of our group disability products, there’s support through the free Emotional Health Support Line . Employers offering any Principal group benefit product can provide their employees and dependents with access to resources that can help with overwhelming feelings caused by stressors, like paying bills and health concerns.
